Easy Parmesan Garlic Dinner Rolls made from frozen rolls and tossed with butter and seasonings. Bakes in under 30 minutes, everyone loves these soft, buttery dinner rolls!
Ingredients (to serve 6-9 people)
- 12 frozen white dinner rolls like Rhodes brand rolls
- 4 TBSP butter divided
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese divided
- 1/2 tsp dry parsley flakes rounded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp onion powder rounded
Instructions
- Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside. If you're using a springform pan, cover the outside of the bottom of the pan with a piece of foil to prevent spillage. Then place the entire pan on a cookie sheet.
- Place the rolls on a dinner plate and microwave using the defrost setting for 3-5 minutes, until rolls are soft enough to be cut in half. If you'd rather not thaw in the microwave, you can set the rolls in a warm place to thaw out for about 45 minutes.
- Cut each thawed roll in half using kitchen shears and place in prepared pan.
- Melt half the butter in a small bowl. Add seasonings and stir gently to combine. Measure out half the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the thawed rolls. Pour butter mixture on top. Use a rubber scraper and stir gently to coat each roll. Arrange rolls in 1 layer around pan.
- Top with remaining Parmesan Cheese and remaining butter, melted. Cover pan with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes, until tops are golden brown. Brush tops with an additional 1 TBSP melted butter if desired.
