Chuck's Hop Shop My Honest Review

We often come to Chuck's Hop Shop for just the convenience of it being one block away from home but also the fact that you can bring your fur-child here, eat, and have a refreshing brewski. The vibe is casual, laid-back, and everyone is pretty friendly.

Besides drinking what's on tap, there are rows of refrigerators filled with other alcoholic beverages that you can take home. Mind you, sometimes the packs are $1-2 more expensive here than your average grocery store. Something to keep in mind, but Chuck's Hop Shop have variety for sure.

There have been a couple food truck options as of lately. The Mexican food truck that used to be by Uncle Ike's is now residing next to Chuck's Hop Shop, should you feel the need to have elote and tacos, but Chuck's itself has rotating food trucks.

Just like most divey bars, Chuck's Hop Shop is self serve for water and there is no table service so put your glasses away. The music choices are also on point at Chuck's. It can get crowded pretty quickly, but a neat dig.

This Chuck's Hop Shop place is casual. Large selection of beers - something for everyone. Decent sized patio, with a portion that is covered. Chill, smart staff.

The food situation is easily navigable. There is usually a food truck parked outside. If that's closed, they sell some gas station snacks. My favorite thing to do is walk East a block over to Taco Chukis for their house Taco which is hands-down the best house taco in all of Seattle.

On the way there you might pass a small Taco truck called Fondas, don't waste your time. Walk the extra block. Thank me later. There is also a teriyaki joint on the corner in the convenience store that slaps if you're not in the mood for tacos.

Chuck's Hop Shop has a super great cozy and outgoing atmosphere. All the employees are very informative in helping you pick a drink from their wide array of selections. I've been in Chuck's Hop Shop twice now and they always switch their flavors/ drinks every so often.

If you want food, I love their Veggie Krappy Dog with cream cheese and jalapeños. It's super good!! They also food trucks, ice cream, and snacks! Chuck's Hop Shop is definitely a place to go for all occasions!
